10 months old tomorrow!!!

Wow! Taylor is growing up so fast. I can not believe she will be 10 months on on the 28th. Clay got to take her to her 9 month check-up and it went very well. She weighed 17pds. She was only suppose to get one shot but they went ahead and gave her half of a flu shot too. She goes back next month for the other half of it. She also had her first ear infection. I would have never known she had one if she had not gone to the doctor. It never seemed to bother her. They put her on that pink medicne which caused her to have a yeast infection. Poor thing. I got her some cream and she is all cleared up. Hopefully her ear infection is gone too. I'm pretty sure it is. Taylor also had her first high fever not to long ago. She woke up from her nap and it was 104. We gave her some tylenol which made it go down but she kept her fever until about 3am when it finally broke. I thought she was sick because I gave her milk. She would lay around and not play. She passed out in the middle of the living room floor. She would cry and just want me or daddy to hold her and she would put her sweet head on our chest. I felt like the worst mommy in the world. Now that I look back I really do not think it was the milk. I really think she had a virus of some sort. She is back to normal Taylor now.

Taylor took her first 4 steps the night of the first Auburn football game. After that she would only take a couple and fall down. This Wednesday she walked back and forth to me and daddy for a long time. She will walk some and crawl more right now but by the end of October I think we will have a full blown walker on our hands. Taylor is also clapping her hands now. It is so cute. She trys to say yay but she has not quit got the hang of it just yet. We know what she means though. Of course she is saying mama and daddy but she will also try to say tucker and tee tee. WHen I take Tucker out I will say "Tucker go tee tee" and Taylor says Tuter tt. So precious and funny. I pointed at Tucker today and said go tee tee and Taylor thought it was funny I guess because she got her finger out and pointed at him and tried to say go tee tee. Taylor talks all the time. I know she is telling us something we jsut cant figure it out yet. She also tries to say thank you. It is so cute and you can kinda tell that is what she is saying.

Taylor loves to eat. Her new favorite thing to eat is yeast rolls. If i let her she would eat nothing but the rolls. She also still loves mac and cheese baby food and mixed veggies and squash. She goes back and forth with sweet peas and green beans. She loves blackeyed peas and lima beans (the grown up ones). She also like the taste of pickles, ketchup, bacon. I made a drink the other day, it was orange juice, frozen strawberries and blueberries. Taylor loved it!!! She could not get enough of it. Then when it was gone she was mad because she could not have anymore. She tried to pitch a fit but I gave her some bread and she was ok. :)

School time!! Taylor still loves her school. She plays and plays with the children in her class. She has such a good time. She does not cry when she gets dropped off and she is still just as happy when she gets picked up. She had school pictures not to long ago. I got her all dressed up and she was the cutest baby there. We did not order any because one my deddy can do a much better job and two they were 80 bucks but it was not good quality. I cant wait until I have some new pictures of Taylor (hint hint dad).

Kisses! Taylor loves to give kisses with her mouth wide open. Although she can be very stingy with her kisses. Somedays she will give them away like candy. Then there are days when I get all the kisses and daddy gets none. Then there are days when daddy gets them all and I get none. She is always trying to give Tucker her kisses though. The only time she succeeds is when she is in the bath tub and Tucker comes in there. I will have Tay stand up so I can wash her off and she will lean over the edge and give Tucker some kisses and he will be licking the water off her. She thinks he is kissing her back and she laughs and smiles from ear to ear.

Well that is all for now. Taylor is doing great. She has grown up so fast. I just can't believe she will be one in 2 months. We are planning her 1st birthday. I think it will be ladybugs. We are having one in Columbus and one in Daphne for close friends and family. It will be fun to see how she reacts to cake. I will be sending out invitations when it gets closer. I want to say thanks to everyone for your love and support especially over the last 5 months while Clay was gone. I can't express how important it was to our family to have family and friends here to help, love, support and encourage us during that time. Also, thanks to everyone who helped move and unpack and get this house the way it is. We very much appreciate you. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
